Term 2 Reflection!!

                        My Term 2 Reflection My term 2 Highlights and Dislike: Term 2 was a good term and i have heaps of highlights, my main highlights would have to be, getting into James Hargest teams for Basketball and Swimming, getting 5/5 in the Otago Problem Solving test which had some hard questions in it that i had to read and do over and over again and playing Tahuna (a school in Dunedin) in basketball. Even though we lost 36-43 i still had fun. Dislikes: During term 2 i have had hardly any dislikes but i do have one, getting 2/5 in one of my Otago Problem Solving test. Now thinking back i think i could have done a lot better.   My improvements in term 2: Throughout term 2 in math we have been doing Math Learning Centers. I think i have improved a lot in   the Learning Centers because i now understand different angles, nets and how to use a compass and a protractor properly.  Challenges in term 2: A challenge for me in term 2 is getting my Statistical Math Assign

Novel Study: Into The Hinterland, By Tina Shaw

What was the climax of the novel??       I think the climax of the novel was when Vancey came back to Bassorah and found out the at herit was her father. Would you recommend this to a friend?? Yes Why?? Because it makes you want to read more. Would you read any more books by this author?? Probably not, it was quite boring at the start but got a little better. Did this novel reach your expectation?? Yes Why?? Because the title was into the HINTERLAND i thought it would be a adventure and is was. Is this novel realistic/believable?? Yes Why?? Because it seems like something that would be real. What were the major things which helped to resolve the plot?? Not really sure?????

Long Road Trip!!!

I hate long road trips. 4 hours in the car. It's so boring. There's nothing to do except for watching movies over and over again. All i can hear is my brother singing to his loud music. The only good thing that I've got a lot of food to go through. After 3 hours we stop in Christchurch for lunch at North-lands mall. After we get back in the car for another hour till we arrive at our destination, HANMER SPRINGS!!!!!

Scarlet Witch… I believe that Scarlet Witch is a SuperHero with heaps of facts with awesome power and has been in a lot of groups. Firstly, Scarlet Witch’s real name is Wanda Maximoff. She is a woman , she  is 132 lbs in weight, and she is 5’7 feet in height. She has a twin brother called Quicksilver. Secondly, Scarlet Witch's has a special power! She can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects. That is one of the reasons why i like Scarlet Witch. Lastly, Scarlet’s first appearance in a group was X-Men in 1964, and her original group was Avengers in 1979 and Avengers again in 1984. Some of her groups are Lady Liberators, Brotherhood of mutants, Brides of set, Avengers West Coast and much, much more. So you can see, that's why i think Scarlet Witch has got the best power and is the best SuperHero. -Eden

Cross Country

I believe that cross country should be compulsory to all. Even if you don't like running or if you have health issues like diabetes. You can walk it or run it. Firstly, if you have diabetes or your are injured, you still could walk some then run some. Everyone should at least try because it's not fair on the people that aren't injured, who have to do it. In addition, if your’e not a runner you can still do it. You can walk with the teacher at the start or at the back of your race. Dear Council I am writing to you, as the council, to build a second bridge for the billy goats gruff. I've noticed the troll keeps threatening to eat the three billy goats gruff and this isn’t good for you or our town's image.. Firstly, the troll will not get angry at the billy goats gruff anymore. To stop that you need to build a second bridge, the troll won't have to worry about anyone walking along on his bridge, or making him feel annoyed. He will get angry and will make everyone's life miserable. In addition, there will be no more trouble what so ever. There will be no more arguing, no more fighting between the billy goats gruffs and the ugly old rotten troll, and this makes everyone upset. So you can see, the land will be worth a lot more than it is now. With two bridges, it will be worth a fortune, wouldn't that be great. So much money.
